Scryptals are evolving on-chain NFTS

Scryptals are dymanic on-chain NFTs and can be evolved up to 31 levels, every evolution level increases by 1% the probability of every trait to come out, for example if the probability of the "Gradient background" trait is 10% on a level 0 scryptal it will become 11% on a level 1 scryptal, 12% on a level 2 scryptal and so on.

When a scryptal is evolved it can also change shape, gaining more colors or even change colors.
Not every scryptal changes in the same way when evolved, some don't change at all for the first 20 levels some others start to change from level 1, usually when a scryptal is evolved it obtains more graphic effects while maintaining its identity, in some rare case they can change totally in the first levels and return to the original shape on last levels, in some other case the evolution process change something on every obtained level showing a regular and steady appearence variation and then, suddenly, on higher levels, all colors change completely like a dimensional shift happened ( these are my favourites.. )

To evolve owned scryptals evolution points are needed

Basically the more scryptals you own the more evolving power you have.

Every owned scryptal gives you some evolution point, the more the scryptal is evolved the more evolution points it will give.

There are 2 kind of evolution points:

1. Base evolution points: this points can be used on owned scryptals.
2. Master evolution points: this points can be used on owned scryptals and during minting process, this means that if you have 2 master evolution points every new scryptal you will find will be generated at level 2 already.

A scryptal granted evolution point cannot be used to evolve itself, evolutions points are valid only for other scryptals.

Once you have some evolution points is possible to go in

your collection

and evolve the scryptals you own, it is not necessary to evolve levels one by one, if you have for example 10 evolution points you can evolve your scryptals at level 10 immediately. Points are not something you will spend, points will remain available after evolving your scryptals, ready to be used for other future scryptals.

also in the full collection page only for your scryptals.

The evolving scryptal cost equals the minting cost and its dynamic.
Actual minting cost is 0.003141 ETH and will increase by 0.003141 ETH every 3'141 minted scryptals.

If you prefer how a scryptal looks at a specific evolution level than its actual level it is possible to set a Showed evolution level FOR FREE

always through the

scryptal's details panel

that you can find on every scryptals in

your collection.

In this way you will preserve all the evolution points granted by the scryptal while showing your preferred level, also the rarity level will be showed clearly indicating what is the real rarity level reached evolving.

If it's true that a level 3 scryptals grants the same amount of evolution points as a level 9 scryptal, it's also true that the level 9 has probably more rare traits and that the higher the rarity the more energy the scryptal will emit.

Every minted scryptal will constantly emit energy to its owner.

This energy is emitted in the form of a ERC20 tokens called Scryptal Ethers,

these tokens

will be distributed to scryptals' owners on weekly basis, the distribution will start when the first 3'141 scryptals will be minted.
